Exhibition Virtual Visit
1 October, 15:00 CET
Brindusa Burrows will conduct a commented virtual visit of the exhibition (H)Être. Visitors are invited to explore a space where invisible threads connect tree and human.
When the centuries-old beech tree of Val-d’Illiez had to be felled in the autumn of 2024, Brindusa Burrows began an artistic journey to reimagine and honour the essence of this historic tree. Through printmaking, painting, sculpture, and audiovisual media, she shares the profound connection she forged with this magical being—a bond that transcends the physical and resonates through an entire community. This exhibition is an invitation to reconsider the boundaries between human and more-than-human, and to sense the quiet presence of nature in new, meaningful ways.
